Online Store’s Terms of Delivery

Kaskea Group’s General Terms of Delivery and Payment In effect from 1 January 2020

These Terms of Delivery and Payment apply to Kaskea Group Oy’s (business ID: FI01844512) online store.

 

Ordering

Products can be ordered in the online store by moving them to the shopping basket and paying for the contents of the basket in the checkout service. Contract customers may choose an invoice as their payment option. Order confirmations are sent by email after the order has been received. By ordering products from the online store, the customer accepts the currently valid Terms of Delivery and Payment.

 

Customer Data and Registration

Registering as a customer is free and voluntary. In connection with the registration, the customer fills in their contact details in the registration form and sets up a password for logging into the online store. After that, the email address the customer has provided will act as their username for the online store.

Registering as a customer of the online store makes ordering easier, because the customer’s contact details and delivery address is added to their order automatically. When registering as a customer, their order history and requests for quotations are recorded in their customer data.

The customer data requested in connection with an order and/or registration will not be used for anything other than delivering the order or investigating any confusion relating to it. All customer data is processed confidentially.

 

Registered Corporate Customers

Registered corporate customers may choose an invoice as their payment option, and any special conditions relating to products and delivery methods will be applied to the order automatically. Registered corporateCorporate customers should note that the prices shown for the products include value added tax (24%).

 

Terms of Payment

Products and their shipping and handling charges are to be paid when making the order. The prices shown for the products include value added tax (24%). The total price of the order and the cost of the delivery in accordance with the chosen delivery method are shown separately at the end of the ordering process and in the order confirmation.

Customers can pay in the online store using the following payment methods: Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, Säästöpankki, Oma Säästöpankki, POP Pankki, Aktia, Handelsbanken, Bank of Åland, S-Pankki, and the following debit and credit cards: Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard, American Express, Eurocard and Diners Club. The payment takes place via Paytrail Oyj’s website. Bank transfer as an advance payment is also available.

 

Payment Service Provider

The realiser of the payment transfer service and the payment service provider is Paytrail Oyj (business ID: FI21228397) in collaboration with Finnish banks and credit institutions. Paytrail Oyj will appear as the payee in the bank statement or card bill and will transfer the payment to the seller. Paytrail Oyj is an authorised payment institution. In cases of complaint, please contact the supplier of the product.

Payment via an Online Bank

The payment intermediary service required for online banking is carried out by Paytrail Oyj (business ID: FI21228397) in cooperation with Finnish banks and credit institutions. For the user, the service works exactly like traditional online banking.

 

Payment by Invoice

Registered contract customers may choose an invoice as their payment option. The term of payment is 14 days net from the date of delivery or according to contract. The invoice will be delivered separately by email, post or e-invoice agreement.

 

Terms of Delivery

The delivery time for products is 1–2 weeks, depending on the product and the quantity ordered. The delivery date refers to the day by which, at the latest, the products are to leave the factory.

The seller has the right to change the chosen method of delivery, if necessary. You will be shown the shipping and handling costs of the delivery after you have chosen the payment and delivery method. The freight delivery costs given in the online store are indicative. The seller has the right to charge the customer being billed for the delivery expenses according to the actual freight costs.

Delivery Options:

Collection from the factory: Kaskea Group Oy, Opastie 10, 62375 Ylihärmä, FINLAND

Post 16 – The recipient collects the delivery from a post office. Delivery to a collection point takes 1–3 working days. The parcel will be stored in the Posti service point for seven days.

Post 14 – Delivery to the address provided by the recipient. Delivery mainly takes place the next working day. If the recipient cannot be reached, a notice slip of arrival will be dropped in the customer’s post box and the consignment will be delivered to their local post office, from where they can collect it later. The parcel will be stored in the Posti service point for seven days.

Matkahuolto Bus Parcel – The recipient collects the consignment from a Matkahuolto service point (service point search: https://www.matkahuolto.fi/service-points). As a rule, Bus Parcels are delivered within 24 hours during the work week. The delivery time may be longer if the delivery route involves transfers, in which case 12 hours are added for each transfer. The parcel is stored at the bus terminal for a total of 7 days, after which an unclaimed parcel will be returned to the sender. 

Cargo delivery by Kaukokiito when the consignment weighs more than 30 kg or when it contains long and/or heavy products, such as mounting posts or concrete bases. As a rule, delivery to the address provided by the recipient takes place the next working day following the date of posting between 8 a.m.–4 p.m.

 

Terms of Exchange and Return

You have the right to return standard products for 14 days from the date you receive the order. Please notify our customer services about returning a product either by email at traffic@kaskea.fi, or by calling us at +358 (0)6 4822 200. The customer is obliged to pay for the delivery costs resulting from the return. The right of return applies only to unused and saleable products. The right of return does not apply to additional panels with text on them or signage which are made according to the customer’s specification and which are consequently custom-made.

Warranty

You will recognise Kaskea Group’s high-quality signs and signage by the warranty stickers attached to them, which reveal the manufacturer and date of manufacture of the product. Kaskea Group Oy gives its road and information signs a warranty of 7–12 years, depending on the production material of the sign. Other traffic control products are under a warranty of at least six months in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act.

 

Problem situations

If the parcel has become damaged during transit, ask the driver to make a note of the damage in the consignment note.

If the product has disappeared or become damaged during transit, or it does not correspond to your order in some other way, notify Kaskea Group’s customer services about it immediately (within seven days) by email at traffic@kaskea.fi or by calling us at +358 (0) 6 4822 200.
